The Coin in the Fish\’s Mouth

Once upon a time, there was a poor fisherman who lived in a small village by the sea. He had a wife and two children, and they all lived in a small hut near the shore. Every day, the fisherman would go out to sea in his small boat and try to catch enough fish to feed his family.

One day, as the fisherman was out at sea, he cast his net into the water and pulled it back up, expecting to find a few fish. But to his surprise, he found something much more valuable: a silver coin! He was so excited that he quickly put the coin in his pocket and continued fishing.

But as he was fishing, he noticed something strange. One of the fish he had caught had a silver coin in its mouth! He was amazed and couldn’t believe his luck. He quickly took the coin out of the fish’s mouth and put it in his pocket with the other coin.

The fisherman was so excited that he decided to take the two coins to the village and see what he could buy with them. He went to the market and bought some food for his family, and then he went to the local temple and donated the two coins to the priest.

The priest was so impressed with the fisherman’s generosity that he blessed him and said, “May God bless you and your family for your kindness. May you always have enough to eat and never go hungry.”

The fisherman was so happy that he thanked the priest and went home to his family. He told them the story of the two coins and how he had been blessed by the priest.

From then on, the fisherman and his family were never hungry. They had enough to eat and were able to live a comfortable life.

The moral of this story is that generosity and kindness are always rewarded. No matter how small the act of kindness may be, it can have a big impact on someone’s life. So, always be kind and generous, and you will be blessed in return.
