The Parable of the Lost Sheep

Once upon a time, there was a shepherd who had a flock of one hundred sheep. He loved each and every one of them, and he took great care of them. Every day, he would lead them out to the green pastures to graze and to find fresh water.

One day, the shepherd noticed that one of his sheep was missing. He searched high and low, but he couldn’t find it anywhere. He was so worried that he decided to leave the other ninety-nine sheep and go out in search of the lost one.

The shepherd searched for days, but he still couldn’t find the lost sheep. He was about to give up when he heard a faint bleating coming from a nearby cave. He rushed inside and there, huddled in the corner, was the lost sheep.

The shepherd was overjoyed to find the lost sheep. He picked it up and carried it back to the flock. When the other sheep saw the lost one, they all ran up to it and welcomed it back with joyous bleats.

The shepherd was so happy that he decided to throw a big feast to celebrate the return of the lost sheep. He invited all of his friends and family, and they all celebrated together.

The shepherd was so pleased with himself that he decided to tell everyone a story about the lost sheep. He said, “This is a parable about the lost sheep. It teaches us that no matter how far away we may wander, God will always be there to find us and bring us back home.”

The moral of this story is that no matter how far away we may wander, God will always be there to find us and bring us back home. We should never give up hope, because God is always watching over us and will never abandon us.
