Once upon a time, there was a Roman Centurion who had a very faithful servant. The servant was very ill and the Centurion was very worried about him. He had heard about Jesus and the miracles He had performed, so he decided to go to Jesus and ask Him to heal his servant.
The Centurion went to Jesus and said, “Lord, my servant is very ill and I am worried about him. Please come and heal him.”
But Jesus said, “I will not come to your house. Just say the word and your servant will be healed.”
The Centurion was amazed at Jesus’ faith and said, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come to my house. But I know that you have the power to heal my servant. Just say the word and he will be healed.”
Jesus was so impressed with the Centurion’s faith that He said, “Go, your servant will be healed.”
The Centurion went home and found that his servant was healed. He was so happy and thanked Jesus for His miracle.
