Once upon a time, there was a man named Paul who was a great teacher of the Bible. He traveled all around the world, teaching people about the love of God and the power of faith.
One day, Paul and his friend Silas were in the city of Philippi, teaching the people about Jesus. But the people there didn’t like what they were saying, so they arrested Paul and Silas and threw them into prison.
The jailer was so angry that he put them in the innermost cell and fastened their feet in stocks. But even in the darkness of the prison, Paul and Silas kept their faith in God.
They prayed and sang hymns to God all night long. Suddenly, there was a great earthquake that shook the prison walls and opened all the doors. The jailer was so scared that he was about to kill himself, but Paul and Silas stopped him and said, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”
The jailer was so amazed that he asked Paul and Silas, “What must I do to be saved?” Paul and Silas told him, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.”
The jailer and his family believed in Jesus and were baptized. Then the jailer took Paul and Silas to his home and washed their wounds. He was so thankful for what they had done that he invited them to stay with him.
The next day, the magistrates sent officers to release Paul and Silas from prison. But when they arrived, they found that Paul and Silas had already been released by the jailer.
The moral of this story is that no matter how dark and difficult our circumstances may be, we can always find hope in God. He will never leave us nor forsake us, and He will always be with us in our times of need.
