One day, Samson met a beautiful woman named Delilah. He fell in love with her and asked her to marry him. Delilah said yes, and the two were married.
But Delilah had a secret. She was working for the Philistines, a group of people who were enemies of the Israelites. She was sent to find out the secret of Samson’s strength.
Delilah asked Samson many times what the secret of his strength was, but he refused to tell her. Finally, she tricked him into telling her the secret. She told him that if he cut his hair, he would lose his strength.
