Once upon a time, there was a small village in the countryside. The people of the village were very poor and had very little money. One day, a rich man came to the village and offered to lend money to the villagers. He said that he would lend them money at a very low interest rate and that they could pay it back whenever they wanted.
The villagers were very happy and they all took the money. They used the money to buy food, clothes, and other necessities. But, as time went on, the villagers started to forget about the debt they owed the rich man.
One day, the rich man came back to the village and asked the villagers to pay back the money they had borrowed. The villagers were very embarrassed and ashamed. They had no money to pay back the debt.
The rich man was very angry and he decided to teach the villagers a lesson. He called two of the villagers and asked them to come to his house. When they arrived, he asked them to sit down and he told them a story.
He said, “Once upon a time, there were two debtors. One of them owed a large sum of money and the other owed a small sum of money. The one who owed the large sum of money begged the rich man to forgive his debt. The rich man was moved by his plea and he forgave the debt.
But the one who owed the small sum of money refused to ask for forgiveness. He said that he would pay back the debt. The rich man was very angry and he said that since the debtor had not asked for forgiveness, he would have to pay back the debt.
The two debtors looked at each other in shock. They realized that the rich man was teaching them a lesson. He was telling them that if they had asked for forgiveness, he would have forgiven their debt.
The villagers were very moved by the story and they all promised to never forget their debt again. They thanked the rich man for teaching them such an important lesson.
The moral of this story is that we should always ask for forgiveness when we have done something wrong. We should never be too proud to ask for help or forgiveness. We should always be humble and remember that we are all human and make mistakes.
